As Seen On Screen

As Seen on Screen offers readers a chance to see film reviews for the everyman, without all of the clutter and nonsense fed to the average filmgoer. Plain, straitforward, to the point. That's our goal. We offer a diverse catalogue of which to choose from, from silent comedies to modern superhero films. Final note: this is a family friendly blog. We only review films rated G through PG-13, plus the unrated films of yesteryear. So if this sounds like your cup of tea, pull up a crumpet and enjoy. Thanks for your support!

A terrific comedy in which a slick con man (Ryan O’Neal) reluctantly joins forces with a nine year-old girl (O’Neal’s daughter, Tatum O’Neal), who’s even more talented in the art than he is. An odd relationship develops, as they start bringin’ in the bacon and growing to learn a little about each other, life on the road, even morals (of all things!). Join the misadventures and enjoy every scam that they can conjure in this original, touching comedy. A well deserved Oscar went to young Tatum O’Neal for her performance as the sweet ‘n’ sassy con girl in this instant classic.
