As Seen On Screen

As Seen on Screen offers readers a chance to see film reviews for the everyman, without all of the clutter and nonsense fed to the average filmgoer. Plain, straitforward, to the point. That's our goal. We offer a diverse catalogue of which to choose from, from silent comedies to modern superhero films. Final note: this is a family friendly blog. We only review films rated G through PG-13, plus the unrated films of yesteryear. So if this sounds like your cup of tea, pull up a crumpet and enjoy. Thanks for your support!

     Premium Rush
2012  PG-13  ACTION  1h 32min
CAST— Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Shannon, Dania Ramirez, Jamie Chung
MUSIC— David Sardy  DIRECTOR— David Koepp

Let’s put it this way: if you’re a super hyperactive twelve year-old who rides without training wheels, this might be your cup of Red Bull. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a bike courier on the hustling and bustling streets of NYC. But he’s not your average courier. He lives life as hard as he rides his custom built fixie, a bike without gears or brakes (no air bags or seat belts, either). When he picks up an envelope from a friend he never imagined that a crazed police detective would soon be hot on his tail, ready to lay waste to anything that stands between he and the envelope. If you’re into this kind of thing this should prove to be an adrenaline-pumping thriller. If not you may just be bored silly. Feel the rush.
OUR RATING— * ½
