As Seen On Screen

As Seen on Screen offers readers a chance to see film reviews for the everyman, without all of the clutter and nonsense fed to the average filmgoer. Plain, straitforward, to the point. That's our goal. We offer a diverse catalogue of which to choose from, from silent comedies to modern superhero films. Final note: this is a family friendly blog. We only review films rated G through PG-13, plus the unrated films of yesteryear. So if this sounds like your cup of tea, pull up a crumpet and enjoy. Thanks for your support!

     The Amazing Transparent Man
1959  NR  SCIENCE FICTION  57min
CAST— Marguerite Chapman, Douglas Kennedy
MUSIC— Darrell Calker  DIRECTOR— Edgar G. Ulmer

Amazing. In this dramatic sci-fi bore-fest a wimpy criminal mastermind wannabe cooks up the brilliant plot to create an army of invisible men (just why is unclear). So he uses an escaped convict as a guinea pig in his experiments. Watch in awe as untrained actors simulate actual fight-like motions with their limbs as they seem to ward off the blows of invisible assailants! Amazing.
