An intriguing drama of dual identities. When a man is found murdered in his apartment those in the know suspect girlfriend Olivia de Havilland of doing the deed. But— surprise, surprise— it seems that she has an identical twin sister. When pressed about the night of the murder they both clam up. Having no solid evidence on either twin the police work with a psychologist specializing in case studies involving twins. In the course of his studies he begins to fall in love with one twin while both twins fall in love with him. Can the good doctor dig to the root of the matter before vicious jealousies erupt? Fine performance (or rather, performances) by de Havilland as the twins under examination. Sometimes over the top but never dull.
