As Seen On Screen

As Seen on Screen offers readers a chance to see film reviews for the everyman, without all of the clutter and nonsense fed to the average filmgoer. Plain, straitforward, to the point. That's our goal. We offer a diverse catalogue of which to choose from, from silent comedies to modern superhero films. Final note: this is a family friendly blog. We only review films rated G through PG-13, plus the unrated films of yesteryear. So if this sounds like your cup of tea, pull up a crumpet and enjoy. Thanks for your support!

There’s nothing quite like a wedding! A small affair; a private, out-of-the-way romantic elopement. The bride and groom standing side by side, as the organ plays soft melody. Everything is a dream until the bride starts to repeatedly ram a knife into the justice of the peace (and probably spoiling the mood for wedding cake). She dashes into the night and retreats to her home, a mansion, where she tends to an elderly stroke victim. A kind woman named Miriam checks in on the invalid, and Emily, the murderous nurse, practically boils over with hatred. Soon we meet Warren, an impotent man–boy who has a few… issues, to say the least. Even though the narrative sounds like an Emmy-losing soap, the film can be very entertaining, especially while hot ‘n’ sexy Warren is smoldering on the screen. And if you notice anything peculiar about him, you’re probably right.
