As Seen On Screen

As Seen on Screen offers readers a chance to see film reviews for the everyman, without all of the clutter and nonsense fed to the average filmgoer. Plain, straitforward, to the point. That's our goal. We offer a diverse catalogue of which to choose from, from silent comedies to modern superhero films. Final note: this is a family friendly blog. We only review films rated G through PG-13, plus the unrated films of yesteryear. So if this sounds like your cup of tea, pull up a crumpet and enjoy. Thanks for your support!

CAST— Jane Russell, George Brent, Scott Brady, Forrest Tucker, Andy Devine
MUSIC— Nathan Scott  DIRECTOR— Allan Dwan

If only she could sing as well as she can shoot. Jane Russell stars in this so-so Western as an up and coming bandit who uses her gang to compete with the notorious Dalton boys. When things start to heat up she and her two partners hide in plain sight; she acts like a professional gambler while her partners case the casino. But there occurs a slight hiccup: she begins to fall in love with the proprietor of the establishment. The bullets start to fly when the Daltons force her to join their gang and steal $1,000,000. In between the cut-throat dealings of these thieves, she still finds time to lip sync to horrible love songs. Take it or leave it.
