As Seen On Screen

As Seen on Screen offers readers a chance to see film reviews for the everyman, without all of the clutter and nonsense fed to the average filmgoer. Plain, straitforward, to the point. That's our goal. We offer a diverse catalogue of which to choose from, from silent comedies to modern superhero films. Final note: this is a family friendly blog. We only review films rated G through PG-13, plus the unrated films of yesteryear. So if this sounds like your cup of tea, pull up a crumpet and enjoy. Thanks for your support!

Another gem from Disney/Pixar. In this delightfully original comedy, we meet the citizens of Monstropolis, a city inhabited entirely by monsters. A monster’s primary job is scaring children, thereby collecting the energy from their screams; scream is what powers Monstropolis. But beware: human children are rumored to be deadly. Enter Sully (the best scare-er of them all), and his partner Mike. When they discover that a human child is loose in the city they try in vain to hide it. In the midst of this madness, however, they stumble upon an evil plot that could endanger countless human children around the globe… With plenty of imaginative creatures and a lot of laughs, this is one for the kid in all of us. Oscar-winner for Best Song (If I Didn't Have You [Randy Newman]).
