Dull Space Race tale from Disney centering on U.S. Air Force Captain Tom Tryon’s confusion prior to an orbital launch. When he meets a young woman who knows his identity and his secret mission he automatically believes her to be a spy. Most of the film is spent on Tryon’s efforts to evade said woman and stay under the radar. Audiences back in the day may have been more appreciative of this sort of drivel due to the overwhelming interest in all things spacey, but modern audiences may have moved on.
OUR RATING— * ½
