     A tragic love affair that transcends time and reason. A lonely and oft rejected artist meets a young girl who inspires him. The next time they meet she seems to have aged considerably. As this pattern continues he begins to fall in love with her. Yet there is a problem: she has been dead for twenty years. He unravels the mystery of who she was and how she died, becoming obsessed with the mystery of a girl named Jennie. Interesting, entertaining, but ultimately forgettable fantasy. Oscar-winner for Best Special Effects.
