     Hitchcock tale of intrigue and terrorism on the city streets of London. Scotland Yard begins to investigate suspicious happenings and various people surrounding them, including the proprietor of the local cinema and his family. The police have a detective next door, working undercover as a clerk at a produce market, and he’s sniffing around more than just the merchandise. Meanwhile, a plot for a bombing is underway, and Mr. Grocer may just be too late to stop it. A little on the short side but still a must-see for Hitchcock freaks. AKA The Woman Alone.
