     The game is afoot. Sigourney Weaver and Jennifer Love Hewitt star in the hilarious tale of mother/daughter con artists out to score a quick fortune. Marriage and seduction have gotten them through many a divorce settlement unscathed. Now the IRS wants their cut. They set out to scam a tobacco tycoon with one nicotine-soaked foot in the grave (an uproariously carcinogenic Gene Hackman)… if only Hewitt could get her mind off of blue collar bartender Jason Lee. Complications ensue when Weaver’s latest ex joins the con and expects his share. Can these two scammers get the green without having their own hearts stolen in the process? A terrific black romcom with slapstick undertones. Final note: parents may think twice before letting the kids watch. Adult themes abound.
