     Red Riding Hood and co. return in this contrived, fitfully humorous sequel to the under-appreciated original. This time Granny has been kidnapped by a confection-coveting witch who has Hansel and Gretel in captivity. Red (who’s been training at a super secret spy facility) must once again team up with the Wolf to rescue Granny before the witch discovers the secret ingredient to an all powerful truffle recipe. Various celebrity voices dot the landscape in this pop culture send up that is less than inspired. Sugary fluff. Originally filmed in 3-D.
