     Rudyard Kipling’s classic tale comes to vivid life in this lavish adaptation. The film follows young Mowgli, raised by wolves in the jungles of India, as he discovers humankind for the first time. He joins their village, with mixed reactions from the populace. After months among mankind he is slowly tamed, yet the jungle still calls to him. Deep in the foliage he discovers a treasure beyond all imagination. Soon this treasure becomes known to some of the villagers, who plan to raid the ancient resting place. But their greed just might get the best of them… Filmed in gorgeous Technicolor, this adventure delivers from start to finish, offering action, intrigue, special effects and animals galore. For those familiar with the 1967 Walt Disney production, this may be a real treat.
