     A Man Alone
1955  NR  WESTERN  1h 36min
CAST— Ray Milland
MUSIC— Victor Young  DIRECTOR— Ray Milland

Fairly good Western drama with Ray Milland as a wandering gunman who is blamed for robbing a stage and murdering the travelers. After an angry mob chases him through dark streets of a strange town he hides out in the cellar of the house owned by the sheriff, who is down with yellow fever. The sheriff’s daughter discovers him yet never gives him away despite the vicious rumors against him. Love blossoms between them and so on and so forth. Not much action but still worth your while.
OUR RATING— ** ½
