A love triangle that could only be fiction! (Hopefully.) A woman thought dead for seven years returns only to find that her husband has remarried… that very morning! Before the honeymoon can begin, she decides to stop them from…you know, and have her husband choose between the two women. Needless to say, chaos erupts as the husband wants his wife back but cannot figure out how to tell his new bride. How about; “Hey, you know, I told you my wife was dead, and I really thought she was, too, but now she’s not so I’m gonna go back home with her. And hey, enjoy the honeymoon. See ya.” This comedy gives lots of laughs and the performances are given in a laid back, informal way that seems more realistic than usual for a film from this era. The only drawback is that it tends to slow down in the second half, but overall, it’s worth a viewing.
