A rip-roaring action adventure with chills and thrills aplenty. When an ex-Legionnaire adventurer is hired to guide an Egyptologist into the arid regions of Egypt, they set in motion a chain of events that could destroy the Earth. Upon arrival they discover an ancient sarcophagus that holds the mummified remains of one dude that should have stayed hidden. A bad boy of the ancient age, he was cursed as one of the undead, with a minor footnote stipulating that should he arise he would bring with him the ten Biblical plagues. Well, guess who just had his wake up call. Mr. Mummy begins his reign of terror by hunting down those responsible for waking him from his slumber; he then begins to pursue pretty miss Egyptologist because she reminds him of a (very) long-lost love. It’s up to our ready adventurer to save the day, guns blazing. With as much inspiration coming from the Indiana Jones films as from former Mummy movies you know you’re in for a good time. There may not be much here in the way of intellect, but what’s left sure is fun.
