As Seen on Screen offers readers a chance to see film reviews for the everyman, without all of the clutter and nonsense fed to the average filmgoer. Plain, straitforward, to the point. That's our goal. We offer a diverse catalogue of which to choose from, from silent comedies to modern superhero films. Final note: this is a family friendly blog. We only review films rated G through PG-13, plus the unrated films of yesteryear. So if this sounds like your cup of tea, pull up a crumpet and enjoy. Thanks for your support!

     Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
1980  NR  COMEDY  1h 27min
CAST— David Miller, George Wilson, Sharon Taylor
MUSIC— John De Bello  DIRECTOR— John De Bello

One of the most unforgettable films of all time sits on video rental shelves all across the country, lonely, forgotten, dusty from years of neglect. And with good reason. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is truly a horrendous, nauseating experience that may be considered illegal in certain parts of Turkey, Malaysia, and the Everglades. The plot (yeah, right) centers on a small band of freedom fighters led by one Mason Dixon. Their mission: Stop the hordes of murderous tomatoes from obliterating the human race. Sounds easy, right? Well they take their sweet time getting there, using up all of the thirty-eight dollars that went into the production of the film. And every dollar shows. Do yourself a favor: Don’t even think about it. Followed by three sequels and a cartoon series.
