Every marriage has its problems. In turn, every husband and wife must find a way to cope with the seemingly daily struggles of keeping their union together. Some try counseling or therapy, some take romantic trips to the mountains or the tropics to try to keep the flame alive. Some take whatever weapon is handy (gun, knife, etc.) and try to slaughter the other before they themselves become the victim. Wait… what?! Let’s take a breath and examine that last example for a moment. In this particular film a top-notch assassin named John Smith (honest) marries a beautiful woman named Jane… who is also an assassin. They both manage to keep their professions a secret from each other throughout five or six years of marriage, all the while growing further and further apart; but then they find that they must target each other. That’s when the fun begins. When the bullets start to fly between them, they realize that they still love each other after all, but, oh well, business is business, right? There’s never a dull moment in this action-packed thriller that has you on the edge of your seat until the very end. And as a bonus, it’s packed with tons of comedy along with the action as husband and wife have almost mundane marital squabbles while trying to blow each others’ brains out. This is one that action fans do not want to miss. Extended version also available.
