Yet another uninspired sequel using the now expected crude humor as a safety net. Manny, Diego and Sid return for another adventure, this time facing the end of the ice age. The world is melting and creatures great and small are heading to safety. The odd trio are on their merry way when they stumble upon a female mammoth who was raised by possums. Manny must convince her of her true elephantine nature if their species is to survive. Meanwhile, they face all manner of life threatening obstacle in their quest for higher ground. Nothing special here; obvious, low brow humor sinks the film. The only attraction: the continuing plight of Scrat.
