     House of the Damned
1963  NR  HORROR  1h 3min
CAST— Ron Foster, Merry Anders, Richard Crane, Erika Peters
MUSIC— Henry Vars (Henryk Wars)  DIRECTOR— Maury Dexter

Boring, often tedious quickie chiller devoid of chills or even unintentional comedy. An architect and his wife are sent to survey a mysterious mansion owned by a madwoman. The couple soon come to realize that this house holds its fair share of secrets. Architect and wife are joined by a bickering couple at the end of their proverbial rope. But when people begin to disappear everyone involved decide that it may be best to get out while they still can. There’s no clue as to why this film is entitled House of the Damned, even though one may be cursing by the end of this pointless sixty three minute mess.
