As Seen On Screen

As Seen on Screen offers readers a chance to see film reviews for the everyman, without all of the clutter and nonsense fed to the average filmgoer. Plain, straitforward, to the point. That's our goal. We offer a diverse catalogue of which to choose from, from silent comedies to modern superhero films. Final note: this is a family friendly blog. We only review films rated G through PG-13, plus the unrated films of yesteryear. So if this sounds like your cup of tea, pull up a crumpet and enjoy. Thanks for your support!

Here lies an example of a film that should never have been. Search no more for a cure for insomnia. Nothing noteworthy lies within the celluloid confines of this less than classic mishmash of so-called film. The daughter of a murdered man sets out to solve the case by mixing with the killers themselves. First she dates the gunman, then she winds up in the club operated by the masterminds behind the crime, one of which annoyingly keeps referring to himself in the third person, “Armitage”. Even though it runs under eighty minutes, it seems to drag on thrice as long. There just isn’t anything to recommend this film, not even unintentional comedy. There are worse films out there, but why waste your time with this one?
